Terms of service

These terms apply to the Tabi Chrome extension and website, operated by Gal Winter ("Tabi", "we"). By using Tabi you agree to them. You can reach us at support@usetabi.app.
What Tabi does
Tabi suggests corrections to grammar, spelling and wording using an AI model, and replaces your text with the corrected version when you press Tab. Corrections can be wrong. Please read your text before you send it. You can undo a fix with Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows).
Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with up to 300 fixes a day. No card is needed, and the trial does not turn into a paid plan by itself.
Tabi Pro
Tabi Pro costs $4.99 per month or $39 per year (plus any tax added at checkout), and renews every month or every year, depending on the plan you choose, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record, under Polar's terms. You can cancel anytime from your account page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. We don't give refunds for partial billing periods: when you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Fair use
Pro includes unlimited fixes for normal personal use. To protect the service, we may limit accounts that send automated or unusually high volumes of requests.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tabi to break the law, to process content you don't have the right to use, or to try to disrupt, reverse engineer or overload the service.
Your content
Your text stays yours. We use it only to produce the fix, as described in the privacy policy, and don't store it.
No warranty
Tabi is provided "as is". We don't promise that it will always be available or that corrections will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using Tabi anytime and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@usetabi.app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.
